Nice presentation OP on all possible savings :)

    • They have 100 + .
Not small stocks like Costco .

  • Wanna buy a combo of Millennium Falcon and the Hogwarts Castle but Castle is OOS :(

There's really nothing. Don't waste your time

That's completely dependent on how long someone's been into Lego and what they have.

Not this time. Tell me what's good then.. Go find two sets of similar theme for someone who has no lego that aren't cheaper elsewhere.

Myers use of RRP kills it
        Stock levels kill it
Undoing current sales (can't double up) is required forr a good price but doesn't work as their system reverts to full rrp even on clearance items
Buying two with the above kills it

These buy more and saves are myer are no good unless they're 25% ant and/or you stack with 10% gift cards and/or they work on creator series (and if they do, stock levels are a problem)

Mate, I'm just trying to save people wasting their time looking.

        • Saved me a click, so thanks.

Lamborghini Sian - as cheap as anywhere else at this time.
Mos Eisley Cantina - as cheap as anywhere else at the time.
NES - cheaper than anywhere else right now.
All based on a quick search on BrickHawk.

I'm not saying they're the cheapest ever, I was just challenging your blanket statement.

I grabbed a Hoth AT-ST - cheaper than anywhere else right now.
And a Shelby GT500 - as cheap as anywhere else right now.

Combine the Lego Millenium Falcon with the cheapest item from that selection that is not restricted to in-store only for $1,044.75.
Combine that with a Suncorp Rewards 4% giftcards (free to join) and the combined total comes down to $1,002.96 ($1,044.75 less 4%).
That is $3 more than the Costco deal, which however required a membership that costs between $55 (business) to $60 (individual).
Joining Myer one for free will give you an additional 2,608 points, giving you $20 off on your next Myer order (and an excess of 608 points).
Sure, a few hoops but they are all free and this is OzBargain afterall, where people willing to drive to Alexandria in the middle of the night to save on stamps share ideas. The rest is up to them :-)

          • @BlackForest: Anyone can use reedemyourcard and most card comes fast saving 7.5% $78 .
Use that and the other discounts you listed kicks Costco butt .
Big problem is huge stocks ( I don't ahve time to check exact ) . No retirement .

          • @BlackForest: Ok. I forgot that despite their statement "40% off second (cheapest) item" their system does 20% off each item.

And i did mention with gift card stacking is ok

        • Nah, there's some good value in there with some sets already 'discounted' (i.e. close to Amazon pricing).

E.g. Bank Police Chase + Hospital are both $119.99 same price as Amazon, PLUS 40% off one set (i.e. an extra 20%), AND they're both brand new 2022 releases!

Or Andrea's Family House + Forest Horseback Riding Centre

Or Heartlake City School + Magical Funfair Ferris Wheel & Slide

          etc etc

          • @Genepi: Nope. They don't stack. The $120 price goes back to full rrp $160 before they take the 20% off.

  • Dupe reply.

  • Dupe comment

  • I know people are complaining about the high Myer RRP.
But with the hard to find larger sets that are retiring soon like Star Destroyer and Hogwarts Castle, any discount on RRP is a good deal imho. Because stock will get harder and harder to find and once retired, even RRP will be considered cheap.

  • Back to stock, combines ShopBack Cashback 5%, make it around $981.

    • Yep says oos but can still add to bag.
