Free Photo app to photograph textbooks

I have bought several textbooks. Some come with online codes so can redeem them with publisher and get electronic copies which is great. Some publishers don't and I am not keen to lug paper versions around. So thinking of photographing these with the iphone. Is there any free app that can help photograph or collate pages to make them more like books? Rather than 200 photos of each page ? Suggestions please.

Hate to suggest it but the Adobe Scan app isn't actually half-bad. It's free so give it a go. Will PDF all the scanned pages and even has text OCR.

  • Take photos, sort photos into a new folder, enjoy?

  • You shouldn't need to lug textbooks around. Except maybe to tutorials if you do exercises from the book. In which case you can just take photos of the pages you'll need before attending - don't need to take photos of the whole book

  • iPhone has a document scan function in the Mail app.
    Works really well
    Collates each page

    • You can do the same thing in the Notes app too
