  • not 48 hours but some times I couldn't send pictures and other times they were received with a delay of 15-30 mins. I was with Telstra prepaid and using iPhone 12 Pro Max with the latest iOS. Recipients were also with Telstra

It lasted for a week or two.. can't really remember but I switched to Vodafone and haven't had that issue lately.

  • My mate on Telstra was complaining about the not receiving SMS from other networks about two to three weeks ago. Telstra have not been able to help him either. They can't see anything wrong on his account. I don't think the issue's been resolved yet.

He's learnt how to use Whatsapp since then and slowly getting used to it.

  • I'm with boost, a workmate with optus. SMSs seem to go fine but sending a pic with MMS can take a couple of days. Just with him though, no one else.

    • yea seems to be images but also just 4-5 word texts

  • Yes I am getting some messages a day after they are sent.
Also some SMS not arriving at all still for weeks ago sent .

    Something is going on

  • The private sector is garbage.

      Your comments are unsubstantiated bulls***

  • I'm with Vodafone now and this started happening again yesterday. I just can't send MMS and memojis. I have to turn the airplane mode on & off and then usually they go through… so annoying. Also it takes up to 20 mins to receive pictures

    • yea still same here… whats worse is that in the messages section - the messages line up at the time they were sent - not at the time they arrive, so you end up missing some.

  • Seems I have been getting sms messages from Telstra to my Optus SIM, a day late! Whats going on?

  • It's like it's the Adjustment Bureau. Try to use a secure instant messenger like Signal or Telegram for more reliability when possible.
