Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream 56g $4 (50% off) @ Coles ($3.65 Price Beat @ Chemist Warehouse)

220

This hand cream is great for people who have hyper sensitive skin and so far after three months of use I have no reaction to it but it does help with restoring the skin (not so dried up anymore) when you are doing lots of cleaning around the house.

Coles has this at 50% off their retail price at $4 but you can get it even cheaper by asking Chemist Warehouse to price match it.

When they do a price match they will also reduce the price by 10% off the difference. Their normal price is $7.49. The price match then results in $4 less 10% off the difference of $3.49 (35c) to make the purchase price $3.65. This makes the hand cream less than 50% off the Chemist Warehouse’s regular retail price.

Prior to this cheapest price was a year and a few months ago at $3.37 at Amazon but you had to buy two.

I have used this for years and think it is fantastic. It is a small bottle, but I only use it for my fingers, and a little of it goes a long way. The bottles seem to last me forever!

  • hows this compared to aveeno hand cream, i found that one to work really well for my hands and restoring my middle finger that gone flakky from dish washing days

    • You'll have to experiment to find out. Just because it works for someone else doesn't necessarily mean it'll work for you

  • Have used before and yes some swear by it as ultra moisturising for those who have skin problems i.e eczema and dry cracking skin. For the price certainly worth trying.

On another note how does chemist warehouse get proof of Coles price?

I have got this from CW previously and the bottles on special and the bottles have not been as full

  • This one has parabens, but I find it works real good regardless.

Just did this at chemist warehouse note they have a limit of 3 when price matching

    • ask them for separate transaction ;)

  • $71/kg for plain sorbolene is hardly a bargain.
Basically glycerin and a barrier. Ingredients cost nothing in bulk, and can be had for 1/10 the price retail.

But "Norwegian formulae" is exotic. I had a laugh in the US when I saw "Australian formula" cosmetics :-)
