Decent price, this is the first time this enhanced/remastered version of Quake has been on sale since it was released back in October 2021.

This cross-gen bundle includes both the PS4 and native PS5 versions (with 4K/120Hz, DualSense adaptive trigger support etc).

Also includes a new co-op horde mode (which can be played in single player with AI bots if you choose), and bonus episodes: Dimension of the Past and Dimension of the Machine:

      Yep. Don't expect too much though, it's basically the same old Quake, but with minor tweaks and enhancements and lots of new graphical and quality-of-life control settings — this game even supports gyro aiming.

        If you havent played it in a while like me, around 20 years, you'll LOVE it. I purchased it for my XBox and have been playing it every weekend. Best ~$6 I've spend in a LONG TIME.

      Yes, they hired modernvideogamer to do the programming. It's a very good remaster.

      Yeah it was just an OK singleplayer game with a great engine. But as a deathmatch game, it was the greatest thing ever.

    greatest online multiplayer game of all time, but im too cheap to pay $5… but somewhat ridiculous considering Q1 is open sourced?

    also, learnt my lesson paying for duke3d remastered… crashes upon launch on ps5…

      $5 for the REMASTERED version, not the original open source one. Its worth it. Dont be that cheap :D

      Isn’t it just the engine that is open sourced, not the game itself and it’s assets? That’s typically what happens.

    Great fun in co-op too though at times frustrating when things were clearly designed for one player in mind.

    This game has some serious bugs in it. Got to the end of one level and it wouldn't let me finish, something had glitched. The only way to proceed was to do the whole level again. I opted to uninstall it. Some things are better left in the past.
