Samsung TV Delivery Is A Joke

Samsung's service is such an absolute joke!

I bought the AU8000 through the Education Portal. Received a message saying it would be delivered. My partner stayed home for it and the truck rocked up without the TV on it. No big deal so we scheduled it to be delivered and it never showed.

Called Samsung and they said they'd contact the courier. Called the courier though and they said there was no stock when they went to pick it up. Been on hold with Samsung several times now and getting no answers besides it might take up to two weeks for them to sort it out. I specifically bought this TV cause it was in stock with a quick delivery but it looks like it might not ever arrive now!

Any tips on how to deal with this? Surely they can't just say 'we'll figure it out' and not get back to me with any real information.

My bad was joking earlier. Ask bank for charge back

I'm sure you'll get your money back.

    • I'd rather the TV delivered as was agreed to be honest.

  • I am in exact same position.

Ordered a 75" on 31st Jan, delivery was scheduled for 17th, received a text in the morning saying it's not coming.

Live Chatted Samsung, useless, told me to call, called and they just kept blaming Covid.

If I hadn't saved $1000 by buying through education store I would be furious, instead I'm just thinking 'the wait is worth saving a grand for'

It isn't Samsung but the courier that they use. It is the same with Bunnings warehouse. They both use ANC Deliveries/Couriers. They have some of the crappiest service I have ever experienced with a courier service…. if you can call it that.

I made an order from Bunnings one time to an office building…. they decide it is a good idea to deliver on a Sunday evening outside business hours and left the items outside the Office building and took a photo of proof of delivery (literally they delivered it to the outside of the revolving doors of this office building)….. the stupidity is beyond me.

  • Why do you even use Samsung website itself to buy a TV?
I purchased Samsung Q60A 85' via Bing Lee and got it delivered within a week.

    • I ordered my tv from Samsung via work portal due to the price , I got the tv on the day I requested , communication was great, it's a service like any other , my/your experience may vary.

      • $1k off

        i mean thats 1,000 reasons

  • Will not be worth the wait, unless the price was amazing.
I would get them to refund the money and just go and get another TV, will be too bitter otherwise.

I have had exact same experience, ordered through Education portal on 23 Jan, got rescheduled 3 times already with last reschedule on 3rd feb for delivery today. Got a message this morning from ANC, your delivery was unsuccessful and Samsung will be in touch to reschedule. I have asked for a refund. The discount is not worth this hassle in my opinion. Shocking experience.

  • In the same experience for a fridge. Was meant to be shipped on the 11th of Feb. Since that day not had any notifications of delay or anything. Went on chat and they said 'Covid.' and 'Out of stock'. They did offer to refund but the price I got it for was stupidly cheap compared to elsewhere. So now I'm just holding off

    What's the punchline?

    • Waking up dead with your head eaten

      • LOL

  • Next time don't buy samsung. It's an easy solution.
