Looking for a Cheap Pressure Pot and Compressor for Resin Casting?

So, the inevitable itch to pick up a new hobby has caught me and I'm looking at trying out making resin dice and jewellery and trying to get set up at a reasonable price. I've looked up how to modify a paint pressure pot to work for resin casting, I just don't know where to find a cheap one. I'll also need an air compressor which can hopefully double as a pump for my tyres so I can top them up at home, rather than go to the petrol station all the time.

Does anyone have any tips on where I can find these things?

I recently purchased a pressure pot for casting dice, I'm yet to actually convert it. Australian woodworking forums all say that Supercheaps blackridge pressure pot was the best choice so I went with that.

I bought this air compressor on Amazon, though I'm getting into airbrushing and this was the best compressor for both tasks.

At the end of the day this isn't necessarily the cheapest hobby if you are going down the pressure pot route, but arguably it may save costs in the long run to reduce waste with silicone/resin.

    Hope this helps :)

    • I was more looking at going the pressure route than degassing with a vacuum. From what I've been seeing pressure is a bit more reliable at giving good results and less messy (though both are messy).
