How to Find Companies Getting Rid of Herman Miller Chairs?

I've seen lots of comments on Ozbargain where people suggest that offices sell HM chairs when they go out of business or downsize offices and I was wondering if people had opinions on how to get in on this action?

Does anyone have an idea what site they might list them on or what companies they might sell the chairs to?

Also curious as to whether there are any popular auction sites for used office equipment/deals. Has anyone tried GraysOnline or similar auction sites for these type of goods?

Appreciate any advice, I have been scouring Facebook marketplace for HM Aeron size B for a while now.

Companies are unlikely to use Facebook marketplace IMO, try auction places like Grays, Lloyds etc or search for used office furniture places.

  • The companies sell them in bulk to secondhand office furniture sellers. They then sell them individually.
I don’t know any in Melbourne to recommend.
I have seen some guy in Melbourne regularly listing HM Mira chairs on ebay for $350.

  • I've bought them off Grays before. They were being sold by Virgin Australia/Deloitte a couple of years ago.

Un Refurbished Mirra chairs start $495

  • Thanks everyone for the advice, I’ll checkout these auction sites regularly.

  • They sell them in bulk to ex-office supply warehouses that know how much they're worth, and have permanent listings on Gumtree/FB

  • Not sure where you’re located, but there’s a store in Burwood (Victoria - just opposite the McDonalds on Burwood Highway near Warrigal), that sells ex-office furniture.

They sometimes get good chairs in
