Hoping someone might have some advice for me on what I can put on my colorbond gate so as I cant see out the street. Thinking like a thin strip of metal perhaps but everything I've looked for via Google is nothing like what I envision.

Rivet strip of aluminium onto the gate? Spray it same colour if you are keen.
Beware that the dissimilar metals (steel and aluminium) may lead to accelerated corrosion of the steel elements.

Stiff rubber strip like in comercial squeegee say 70mm x 3/5mm - Clarke Rubber should have that - Fix with pop rivets or self tappers in ss.
How about rubber stripping? Attach it to the gate with self-tapping screws.
