Any suggestion on how to update a Mercedes Map Pilot in a 2014 CLA model, without having to resort to the dealership

Unplug the map pilot navigation unit in the console box, connect to your computer with mini USB then download software and update (https://www.beckermappilot.com/shop/login/). Latest version is Q4/2020 for 2021/2022 cycle update.

Nothing. Proprietary system.

Either 1. get an aftermarket system 2. External phone mount 3 . Pay stealer tax
