    no vans to australia :(
anyone know where the cheapest place to get them is these days?

    • ebay

    • asos during 20% off sale

      • Vans aren't allowed to be delivered out to Australia now…so there's a chance ASOS won't let you checkout with vans in your basket.

        • Why can't Vans be shipped to Australia?

        • -1

Trade restriction by Vans Au (they have one store in Sydney at least), so they can sell 2x the price they charge in the US.

    • eastbay -> priceUSA?

I just checked out PriceUSA, I don't really like their pricing structure, it seems wacky. I've used shipito for items what Amazon and other online shops wouldn't ship to Oz, and I will speak highly of their service, they charge a flat fee for handling your packages and another fee for package consolidation (which is what I used), they went about it really well. Threw out all the shoe boxes and stuffed the shoes with newspaper, packed everything tightly and carefully and shipping was a lot cheaper (but still expensive). If anyone is looking for a re-shipper then by all means check them out.

        • I might give them a go this time. :) cheers

        • Would you mind sharing how much it cost to go through shipitto? It's difficult to estimate how much it will be when you have no idea how large or how heavy the final thing will be…

    • For Vans shoes I now buy from Karmaloop.com - wait for one of their discounts with reduced international delivery (usually 10-15% and $8 off freight).

      • Karmaloop is terrible for shipping costs..Otherwise they have good stuff.

    • try urban outfitters?
The vans I usually buy for $90 in store here in aus, are $45 there.

Shipping and handling is 28% of the net order total or a minimum of $39.99.

Also some items are "Excluded from discount", those items that are excluded can be used to reach $99 minimum requirement but you won't get a discount for these items.

Coincidently I tried to buy something from them yesterday, but they wouldn't ship the item to Australia.

This isn't a deal, as they always have these coupons, which can be found on their site:

    http://www.eastbay.com/coupons/

    • Yeah 20% isn't anything special. It's a fairly common discount from them.

Minimum Postage fee is $39.99 even if I buy small underwear. Totally worth neg'ing.
As someone mentioned above they offer similar discounts regularly in the past.
Not all items are included and this deal might be ok with postage is you bought $500 worth of stuff but then they still charge you 28% which is quite excessive. Nothing special about this place, there shipping is outrages.

it is shipping from the US and they are shoes and not tiny gadgets. I myself use Wiggle.co.uk for most of my shoe needs but Eastbay is pretty good for non-running shoes that can't be found on Wiggle.

Also I use prodirectselect for bb, cricket and football(english) gear.

    • Ok, so it's not good value if you buy small underwear.

For those of us who don't, it's a good deal.

    • Just get some mates together and do a big order!

  • Is there a list of brands that they don't ship to Australia?

    • +1

No, but check whirlpool. Asics, Nike and Vans are the ones I know of

      • I believe only US stores will not ship to Australia.

I grab my Asics of wiggle.co.uk. Always cheaper than Eastbay and 90% of the time this will include free shipping.

        • Check out http://www.wiggle.co.uk/h/option/Vouchers for current vouchers.

Currently $25 off $150 inc free shipping.

        • I was talking about eastbay, I didn't mention wiggle, startfitness or even endless(US, which does ship some asics but not kayanos).

Wiggle has free shipping on orders over $80(IIRC)

        • I always find that Amazon.com is the cheapest for Asics. Just find out which is last year's model of a particular shoe and the savings can be massive. Sometimes they won't ship to Australia, through but often they do.

      • Supra doesn't ship either. :/

  • Good deal,

I got a pair of the Nike shoes (blue ones) from the front page in Japan a week ago

    Damn!

    Damn DAMN DAMN!!!

Also they do ship NIKE. I ordered some last week (wearing them now actually). I love Eastbay! They're super fast!

    • Yeah they ship Nike's. There used to be a restriction by Nike themselves but it's been lifted.
