You just spent $500 or more on a cycling computer/GPS/etc? Now hold it onto your bike with a 10 cent accessory!

No you can use this with cheap bike computers or even with a stick on connector that utilises old phones with GPS aps

      eg https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/403356582522?chn=ps&_ul=AU&norov…

Not all bike riders wear lycra 😀

BTW its 15c but to buy elsewhere its at least $8 or more.

I got one last time and its great.

      • The first line of their pitch "compatible for Garmin".

And sorry, you're right - I saw the price as 10c, not 10c US - that's on me.

I lost a Garmin 500 to the actual plastic bit on the unit itself snapping off, rather than the mount. Now I make sure to use the included lanyard to loop it to the stem.

  • got one end cap last time, thought could be one, but turned out to be a pair for 15c https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/676070
decent quality and solid built. would like to pay $5 if I really need them without discount.
not much difference between 15 cents and free offering.

  • Are stem top caps universal for bikes? I've got a Trek Domane that has some fancy "Isospeed" suspension system inside. I've looked at the manual and it seems to have a two piece (seal and ring cap) system.

    • For a "threadless" stem (which yours almost certainly is) the only variable is going to be the diameter of the fork itself, and I'm reasonably (but not 100%) certain that this is standardised (it's the 28.6mm bit referenced above).

Inside the steerer tube should be a "star nut". This should be the seal bit you mentioned? The cap itself is broadly interchangeable - just do a google search on stem cap and you will find plenty.
