Can You Recommend an Immigration Agent to Arrange a Tourist Visa for Filipino

Hope this is in correct forum, otherwise please move.

I want to bring my friend from the Philippines to Australia on a 3 month tourist visa. Can anyone recommend a good immigration agent who can assist with this. Are there any scams to be aware of? I found a guy in Melbourne who charges $560 but not sure how reputable he is. Does it matter if I use an agent based interstate or should I go with a local.

  Do the forms yourself. They really are not that hard. I do all the paperwork for my family, friends and inlaws when they want to come and visit.

  Just make sure you apply for the right visa and don’t bullshit or make up stories or try to fudge something through or embellish anything, they will find out and ban the person from apply for a minimum of 3 years.

  Agree with pegaxs, do it yourself. Not difficult, just takes a bit of time to do the paperwork.

  It's an Aussie guy based in the Philippines. I've used them for a few tourist visas, as well as for bringing my wife over here permanently.

  No issues, and all visas have been granted.

  If you fill in the assessment you'll get told if they have a good chance of getting the visa or not, and a quote.

  It's only a tourist visa, they are easy to get, don't pay someone to do it for you.

    Agreed, we did it ourselves for my MIL and SIL. Even with an agent you still have to spend time getting all the evidence together, the filling in and filing of the application is the simple bit
