Caroma Cleanflush Toilet - 844811W or 844810W

I have one of those cheap $199 Aldi toilets installed at the moment.

It is OK, but it is a pain to clean and the toilet seat they supplied is poor.

In my main guest bathroom I have a Caroma 844811W which I got from Bunnings when they were running a $149 toilet installation special.

The Caroma 844811W is identical to the Caroma 844810W - the only difference is the xxx11W is only sold in Bunnings at the xxx10W is sold everywhere else.

I am trying to find a good price on it, but Bunnings @ $599 plus install is the cheapest I can find.

Last time I got Bunnings to price match www.idealbathroomcentre.com.au who were doing it for $499.

Any suggestions where I can get a better deal on a 844811W or 844810W

  • we got this installed about 6 months ago (similar to urs, not wall facing)

bit pricer but wife loves the clean flush system
not the tank is smaller so in some instances you need to flush longer (hold) the force of the wter is quite strong so there is no issues
not sure where u can get it cheaper, my plumber sourced it direct from supplier

toliet set is nice, but u can easily replace it

  • I picked this model up the last time they had their $150 dunny do over. Best decision I ever made.

Had a hard time finding a better deal at the time with the cheap change over. We had to have a bottom inlet and some extra bits to fit into an older house. From memory, I think all up it was around $700ish and that was in 2017?

    • @Willowtea, Love to hear how well the rimless in this model works as i am interested in getting one soon.

Works great. Still needs to be cleaned but it's a quick wipe versus trying to scrub up a cavity you'll never fully access.

Think of it like a horizontal urinal. Its essentially that technology. Water splash is absolutely minimal. I would never go back to an old loo now!

        • Thanks @Willowtea.

  • I have been looking at one of these too and the price from Bunnings is about $589.
Would love to hear more feedback re how well this rimless model works.
    Does it flush well?
Does water get splashed out / up to seat and cover when the seat is down/closed while flushing?
Is it easy to keep it clean, especially the back part where the water comes out?

the flush is quite strong but the tank is smaller (new regulations)
i usualy hold the flush and empty all the tank if its number 2, no issues with flush

water does still splash a bit (there is a switch u can reduce to strength though)
it is easly to keep clean

      • Thanks @djones145.
