Which of These 85" TV's? Hisense A7G v TCL P725

Looking to get an 85 inch TV on a tight budget.

Which of the following would be the better TV?

Hisense A7G - best price I can find is $2,295.00

TCL P725 - best price I can find is $2,337.00

I know the TCL has 100hz refresh rate and is back lit (the Hisense is direct lit (is back lit better?)).

Happy to consider other TV's around this price point too or even consider dropping back to a 75 inch if there is something at this smaller size that REALLY smashes these ones.

Really appreciate any TV experts please giving their opinion.

  I would go TCL for the VA panel over the Hisense with an IPS Panel.

  I wouldn't get either.
  Drop down to 75inch and get something that's better quality (both image wise and response wise).

  If you're so concerned about the size, maybe try sitting closer to the TV ?

  I recently purchased the Hisense U7G in a 65". Looking at the A7G in that size it was easy to see that its blacks were much more grey and because I personally like and prioritise contrast I stumped for the more expensive option.

  Otherwise its performance has been terrific, great response times with the Xbox One X, great colour, HEAPS of brightness, snappy UI and app performance, good connectivity and works seamlessly with my other CEC HDMI products.
