Did Sriracha Change Their Packaging?

Can’t upload images but have they changed their packaging?

I was under the impression after watching a docu that their price formula and packaging would never change?

(Obviously things have changed)

Are you sure it's the same original Huy Fong brand? There's tons of copy cats nowadays.

The term 'Sriracha' isn't even trademarked, lol. More of a term now I guess, like ketchup; under one name/term but many different manufacturers that make similar looking/tasting products.

  • Did Sriracha change their packaging?

Nope… but there are heaps that try to knock the look off. Maybe you got caught out?

  • There are a lot of knock off's. And since they changed the source of the chilli it hasn't been the same either.

I visited the factory a few years ago in San Bernardino. Quite interesting.

  • there's two big brands that sells in Coles, Woolies and Asian Grocers.

One is the original brand, Huy Fong with an intricate Rooster as a symbol. There's only one flavour.

The second big brand is Flying Goose with a goose as a symbol. They are a knock off brand so the original flavour loses out to Huy Fong but they offer many other flavours like spicy mayo, yellow chilli, wasabi, pepper, garlic, super hot which is interesting and a bit of variety to eat with.
