It has been a while since we last had a deal on Xiaomi mi power banks.
Mine from 8+ yrs is still working fine despite using it hundreds of times.

All the amazing Xiaomi products at crazy cheap prices eight years ago was the best. What happened?!

      • I bought quite a few and miss those deals dearly as they started swelling after years of heavy use. I’ve read it’s the Chinese way, where things are sold at a low introductory price and then steadily marked up once the product established their reputation. Also see this with OnePlus phones and pretty much the opposite of how things are usually done: start at MSRP and discount over time.

    • Yeah I think mine is starting to degrade, but I don’t know which are the good brands these days.

    • My one still works fine also but damn is it starting to show its age just on the features alone.

USB C, fast charging, dual ports etc would all be great upgrades. However can't see myself upgrading while my current one still works perfectly well.

I am still waiting for a sale from xiaomi power banks too. I refuse to buy other brands as they don't last long.

Mine too! Strange they have all disappeared, it works like a champ, and outperforms the romoss one I bought on amazon

When you go to checkout it updates, was free for me in metro melb or $5 to regional vic.

  • What's the difference between the 15W and 20W power banks? I assume the 20W would charge a phone quicker? Why then would you buy the 15W over the 20W charger besides being slightly cheaper in price?

    • 15w doesn't appear to support quick charging. So 15w can only do 5v charging & need usb-c to get the 15w.
The 20w one supports QC and PD up to 12v and usb-c to get max output required

      • Thanks. So generally it's better to buy the 20W charger? All I want to charge is an android phone.

If the phone supports QC then get the 20w, the speed it charges in the 1st 20-30 mins is heaps faster

      • Damn, that's disappointing. I forgot to use my $5 coupon and should have gone the 20w option too, I only calculated the best saving.. 😅

Guess it'll have to be as a backup/on-the-go charger for my GoPro battery pack and other less-intensive things that don't utilise QC.. 😑
