Used Cheap Cheep's
Mine:https://wn.nr/94RXf3This competition 26 ways to enter state "Vist xxxx on Facebook/Instagram/Youtube" but then after you do that it says unless you 'liked' them or subbed your entry is void.
I find this a little misleading seeing as it states that to enter you just need to 'visit' not 'like' etc. Others ways on the list include the requirement to 'follow' or 'retweet' so, to me, 'visit' means only that - just visit.
I find it a little misleading to say a rig with 11th gen Intel and a 2060 is worth over 2k, PCPP with everything except the case had it around $1500.
I'll still enter, but I'm not gonna go to much effort with their 26 ways to enter. They can send their newsletter to my spam inbox though.
It’s exploiting a loophole in the way Gleam charges.
“visit” entry options are cheaper than “like/subscribe/follow” entry options for the competition creator so they use the “visit” option instead.
I ALWAYS like/subscribe/follow whichever page a “visit” entry takes me to just in case.
Even saw one time an incredibly cheeky competition creator blatantly state something to the effect of “visit entries actually mean you must like, subscribe or follow the page or you won’t be eligible to win”.
Ever since then I have realised what’s going on and always do the actions.

I would actually prefer it if they were upfront about it. Then I wouldn't waste my time clicking links that don't do what they say.

I do not use any of the so-called 'social' media sites so whenever I come across this annoying practice I tend to just exit. I don't feel like giving them my attention from that point on. (yes, I know it's 'cutting off my nose to spite my face' but that's my first reaction).
