  Whilst Doom is a must have game (and it's a must buy in my book), it does tax the Switch hardware quite a bit. The framerate is all over the place.

    I had trouble going back to this after Eternal. Movement is so restricted.

  Can't help myself, this is now the 35th time i've purchased a doom game. No sale on Eternal, but grabbed the slayers collection.

    Despite what guidedlight said, it's a near constant 30fps. Some drops, sure, but playable.

    I played the first hour or so on PS4, but got the Switch version on sale due to Gyro controls. Once you grow accustomed to that, it's near impossible to go back. So despite the lower frame rate, I personally prefer the lesser technically sound switch version due to this reason.

    However if you're a PC gamer, gyro may mean nothing to you and you may hate the lower resolution and frame rate unless you live portable play
