Alienware AW3423DW QD-OLED currently available with Dell Premier access in the US

Just saw this posted in the Ultrawide subreddit

So it looks like Dell have started selling their upcoming QD-OLED ultrawide monitor to their Dell Premier customers. The reddit OP is in the US, however it looks like Dell Premier is also a thing in Australia, so thought I'd do a forum post in-case anyone interested happens to have access to check/buy.

I'm massively interested in this monitor, big big advocate for OLED TV's, so I'm very keen to get my hands on one of these and try it out. OLED and monitor will make burn-in alarms go off in anyones head, but apparently the QD-OLEDs aren't as susceptible to burn-in, plus Dell is offering a three year burn-in warranty with these displays.

Appreciate the heads up, estimated to arrive by April 29th according to my order confirmed email from dell.

        • All good mate. I contemplated posting a deal but didn't want all the "OzInstock" comments, so just thought I'd share with the few who commented here. :)

          • @matictac: Hey did you use Shopback when you bought yours if you did how much is the cashback saying for you?

Only asking cause according to the shopback there is a cashback of 1.5% for monitors which would be $34.48 yet i just got an email saying my cashback is $62.70

            • @Axelstrife: I actually totally forgot cashback haha, take my OzB card. Perhaps it just falls under the Alienware category? Though that doesn't quite add up.

              • @matictac: Someone got a little too excited haha. Yeah none of the percentages shown match, Definitely not complaining though.

  • Keen to see what the local pricing is going to be like for this. I paid $1350 for a Acer Predator X34P around a year and a half ago now and it's great - but I sorely miss HDR, and OLED would be incredible.

I'm hoping it's not much more than $2k local!

    • I'm in almost the same boat mate, bought an X34GS for about $1350 but only in September last year. It seems so stupid to upgrade so soon, but the thought of an OLED monitor really gets me excited. Hopefully I wont lose too much selling the X34GS second hand.

      • Fantastic, thanks for reporting back bud! Just need to wait for one of the semi-regular 20% off on eBay sales (plus some reviews)!

      • @matictac Did you manage to get a hold of one with that insane discount? I got an order in, but not due until May unfortunately.

  • Given that the RRP is very similar to what the AW3821DW started at I'd imagine it would be similar. The real question is how quickly will it be discounted

  • Australian shipments for this are expected in late April/early May.

    • Source?

      • Dell account manager.

        • Ohhhhh. Thanks mate. :)

        • Any word on a price?

          • @matictac: Nothing he was willing to share as-yet.
