Well that would have been a nice option a few days ago before I bought GT7…

I don’t NEED a PS headset, but I’d get that one for $82

  • Also i will add i had pe ordered from Amazon and but not arriving till Tuesday so chat cancelled the pre order then i re purchased the offer.

The pulse 3D is a pretty amazing headset overall. I highly recommend it.

GT7 is an absolute dream. It's like being a kid and playing GT2 all over again

    • 100% this!
GT7 is amazing, super excited about the future updates too.

God, I just realized… I'm gonna have to manage this…

    • I stopped playing GT after GT2

      • Start again… GT7 is everything you could hoped for in a game. Its phenominal.

        • 20yrs have also gone by and these days I have no time.

Maybe in another few years ….Till my kids grow up and it's easy to buy a PS5

  • +1

Unnecessary Pulse3D but bargain so why not haha thank you! Can’t wait for GT7 on the LGC1 🔥

  • I thought this headset wasn't that great?

    • +2

For under $100 I doubt you’re gonna get anything better.

The build quality is questionable but it’s a pretty good buy for the ps5 if you don’t already own a good headset. It’s also pretty comfortable and can have these on my head for long gaming sessions. Can’t say the same for my arctis headset which has better sound quality but is very uncomfortable for longer than an hour

I got the 25th anniversary edition. Insane game…visuals are stunning!

    • It was a lot more expensive than normal version yeah? I looked for it today but sold out on Amazon now

      • Yep all gone. Had to preorder

        • I pre ordered it, they took my money on the day and then changed the shipping to "we'll update you when we have stock" WTF!
          Pre ordered back in October

          • @Rbnutz: Hope you get yours soon!

            • @JL1: Gave up. Picked one up from my local EB games instead 🤷

        • Ah I see, yeah price seemed a bit steep when I looked.

Lol, downvoted by the Sony fanboys. I have both consoles and forza is streets ahead.

      • +2

Have both - it's not. GT7 is another level.

      • +1

unbelievable hey lol I have a ps5 and pc. Played forza on the pc on pc gamepass. Playing Fifa and Horizon Zero on the ps5. Graphics on Horizon are great. Just being honest looking at the gameplay footage for Gran Turismo - its not good

    • +3

How anyone is meant to play a racing game based around car collecting and tweaking when the trees and building look a bit blocky, I will never know.

    • LOL…so NO to drugs.

    • Are you sure you’re playing the right game? Maybe you’re playing Minecraft on SHITBOX?

    • +2

I played Forza Horizon on my 3080 Ti and the graphics were above-average at best.

But the greatest sin of all was the fact that the cars didn't have the correct sounds and the textures and shapes were simply not accurate.

It's not a game for car enthusiasts.

Just in case anyone isn't aware GT7 has an always online requirement. You can't play single player offline. This might be an issue for some. Source: Digital Foundry review.

    • But there should not be a requirement for Playstation Plus subscription?

  • How is the audio quality on the pulse vs earbuds plugged into the controller?

    DOESN'T WORK FOR ME
There is a $35 off promotion button but it doesn't work for me. The headset is $117 with or without the game. The controller deal doesn't give me 10 bucks off either

    • +3

Discount is applied at checkout, not the cart

Thx for the heads up. I don't use Amazon much

  • Bought 1 thanks OP
    Haven't played GT since GT3
    Been playing F1

Thanks got it for $165 delivered . They gave me $15 off using PRIME15. Strangly enough the Code didnt work on my 2nd account.

  • Will JB hifi match this?

Have clocked in 20 hours so far from my 25th anniversary edition:

My honest thoughts and I expect to be downvoted, but here I go:

    • graphics on some tracks aren't great. And I get that it is not a true next gen game. The Tokyo Expressway as an example just looks fake/flat and lacking textures on the buildings.
    • music is incredibly boring especially the classical songs. Unable to change songs. Wish the music was more upbeat constantly during races. I don't need to hear a wedding song mid-race. During garage and world map I don't mind the music as that's familiar with GT1-2 etc
    • spectators are lifeless
    • need a constant internet connection even to play offline races. My internet dropped for a few hours due to bad weather, was mildly annoyed with being unable to play
    • the 8-10 minute intro at the very beginning was very boring, couldn't even skip it. They could have used some of the championship cutscenes instead which were more interesting
    • too much boring dialogue that hinders your ability to race. The game does a good job in impending your ability to get straight into races. The cafe menu thing is just bizarre and so dry. Why do I need to know that Felix grew up in Japan from the age of 5?

It is generally a fun game and I am enjoying it with my G29 wheel but I am also sorta underwhelmed tbh but not enough for me to not wake up extra early to get a few races in before everyone else is up in my home. Enjoy playing with my red '91 GTO, takes me back to GT1-2 when I did the same.

I am confident that they will improve on some of these things in future updates.

Hope you all are enjoying it and don't get offended by my comments

You won't be downvoted for an honest opinion. I'm about 15 hours in and love every part of GT7. I play both Dual Sense and Logitech G923 wheel. The game has surpassed my high expectations. So glad Polyphony have returned to the format of GT4. Amazing achievement and one that won't dissapoint fans of earlier versions of GT genre. Yes….The Cafe is Kooky and very typical of the unique in game experience of any earlier Gran Turismo. It's an acurate racing sim, without being too sim like or boring. You are correct, Tokyo can be a little flat and grey looking, though its a cityscape so true to the location. The other tracks like Trial Mountain or Nurburg Ring and Mount Panorama are spectacular, the weather effects, particularly the rain soaked tracks are amazing. Physics of the game are very responsive to the tune set up you have. Loading times on PS5 are almost non existent, something that was starting to become annoying on earlier PS3 and PS4. Put in the disc or start the game and your straight into the game. If anyone here has played a GT in the past and liked it, this game will take you to another level of enjoyment of the GT franchise on either PS4 or PS5. For me I consider this the best GT game since GT3 and GT4. A masterpeice and one I will keep playing in years to come.

  • The pulse headset comes in black as well?

  • Code didn't work til the price of the headset went up
