That's weird - came out in June 2021 for Xbox. Looks like the same edition so not sure why the pre-order…

It's on clearance at The Gamesmen for $17, and $49 elsewhere.

I'm sure it will never reach the top of my pile of shame, so I'm going to pass, even at this loose change price.

    Price matching EB Games $9.95.

Also available for PS4, PS5, Switch at the same price.

    • If it's on Switch, it should be on smartphones too.

FYI this game does not have couch/local play

      damn that really sucks

    • Yep, when it first came out I got really excited. BUT local multiplayer is one of the main features for this game in my opinion. Total deal breaker.

    Mixed/average reviews..

    • Game had deviated too much from the established gameplay formula expected from the series
    • Lack of content
    • Steam reviews suggest that the game is completely unplayable because of its PVP only mode and lack of other players

This game sucks do not buy at any price

  • Free might be too much for this.

  • This was free on launch on the PS4 with PS+. Never got around to playing it but you basically play as 1 worm not a team and go through the level fighting other players in real time rather than their normal turn based play. Pretty sure its online only as well and no idea if you can play with just bots but being online only I'd be guessing not.

  • Ahh soo it’s a online only game with no single player story mode. Don’t you just hate it when games do this. At least have a single player story means you can still play the game offline
