Just bought this latest white version highly recommended headphones from the at lounge Westfield Sydney on Pitt St. The cheapest price I found elsewhere is addictedtoaudio online store which selling it $189 and they haven't got stock yet. I asked at lounge girl if they can match online store price and she offered $169.

      that's the only elsewhere selling this white version as far as I know but it sells it $189 with free express shipping and haven't got stock based on their email response this morning.

      It's an interesting story. I pre-ordered it with at lounge a while ago and asked price matching $189. Today just passed by and check if stock arrived but got answer "need to wait another 1-2 months". An hour later the girl called back and apologized she didn't realize it's in stock already. Asked price matching and she offered $169 herself. She might match it to black version but do I mind? :)

          may depends on staff. previously when I pre-ordered, the male staff said he can't match until I get exact online store price.

      I would say no, sound quality is very similar (both sound fantastic BTW), but the M50's clamp too hard on the ears. The AD700 are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.

      M50 is closed. AD700 is open. Personally I can't stand wearing open headphones on train/bus and I don't think other passengers sitting next to me can stand it either.

      Pricematching is not a "bargain", else Ozbargain would have be full of Officeworks price matches, every pencil, every pen, one for every product they successfully pricematched.

        If you read more carefully it's a real bargain:

        "Therefore, instead of posting the price match as a bargain, the real deal should be from the merchant who is offering the lowest price. "

        I got the lowest price as nowhere else has this offer and other readers can use my thread to seek other provider matching my price.
