200 lumens lol. This thing is barely a night light

    • Great idea, bought a few as slim night lights. I'm disappointed there is no VGA or Serial ports on this thing though.

    480p. Good stuff 👍

      • Why did you neg this?

        • /s = sarcasm. 480p is the same resolution as your old CRT, except even worse

    My 286 had better res.

It's not worth it at $383.50, did they ever sell any at the RRP?

    • +1

      Yeah in 1990 probably.

    Dat rrp

The discounted price is ok but $1k rrp for 480p resolution is a joke.

  • ROM: 8 GB

So what files they have stored here for you?

    Lol. No way! Blatant lie.

    • Was going to press X for doubt on that 4k thing. 😂

    • What is the quality of the downscaling algorithm?

  • 200 ANSI is very dark

    • +2

Maybe its auditioning for the DCEU.

    • Not ready. If it is true 200 ANSI lumen, it is quite good for small room. Other definition is “light source” lumen, then it is very dark.

  • But does it come with Kodak moments?

  • Kodak when bust for a reason. Selling inferior technology for the highest price. Looks like Kodak 2.0 is doing the same thing.

    • +1

Yep the current owners will let the name be slapped on just about anything.

They had a particularly dodgy line of "Kodak" mobile phones a few years back for example.

    • I bought some kodak digital cameras, maybe I got them cheaper than what they retailed for but their stuff was consistently cheaper than the other major brands e.g. Canon, Nikon and Sony, and the quality was decent while not being quite up there, it was still fine.

I have a couple of my old cameras and while now days they don't hold a candle to the current lot they have their place in time.

  • I'm surprised at the amount of comments on the lowly 200 lumens output!! As a portable projector 200 "ANSI" lumens is pretty standard.
If it's not ANSI then it can't be trusted. Here's a Kogan 4000 Lumens projector $229 This would make it 20X brighter.
Companies will state anything when they don't include ANSI.

    • I think people are comparing to full size projectors rather than portable ones.

As per review above it's decent as a portable projector.
