The official link cable is ridiculously exensive for a cable, plus I don't have a USB-C port on my PC. What do you guys reccomend?

Thats the exact same one I was looking at. Glad to know its actually good.
My advice though when you get it, is have the USB end anchored down somewhere with a weight or tied on a hook or something so as it doesn't put stress on your port and the usb plug it's self. As you move around it will put too much demand and strain on that point otherwise.
This one, purchased my self from research. Works 100% and a fairly light equivilent. The oculus one will be lighter but doesn't justify the cost in my opinion.
