        She belongs to the platy puss

  • Was hoping for up to 300mm of sustained levitation, achieved zero. True to size though. 1/10.

      The force is weak in this one

  • Are UA made shoes any good? They're more famous for their skins and gym type of equipment I think?

      I buy a lot of running shoes. Never heard of UA running shoes, nor have I ever seen any runners wear any

        @icantremember Thanks, that's what I thought.

      Bought a pair of UA phantoms in Oct 2021 for my 14yr old son $160. Within 4 months they are ripped on the mesh top of both shoes and the soles are completely worn down - barely lasted a school term!

        @cheekychief This is why I'm hesitant to try unknowns when it comes to shoes. They cop so much abuse, the comfort, support and longevity can be miles apart.

          @clubhonda you are so right. This was the 1st time I conceded and spent that much money on a pair of sneakers because my son really wanted them and I thought the reviews were good. Not only that but also by the fact they were sold out everywhere and this was the last size I got. Never again buying UA shoes.

    So….do you have to charge the shoes? is there a removable module?

    • More like an AirTag concept me thinks

  • are these better than normal support shoes- i dont care much about the 'bluetooth' stuff

    If they last two weeks I'll be satisfied (I run 150kms a week so 300km is about the minimum I expect from the shoes. Never really get the people who complain about running shoes only lasting 3-6 months, of course if you use them as a standard sneaker you will be prone to rip the upper etc. but if you just use them fit for purpose they should fit the bill. Mathews and McDonald wear them (national atheltes) so I should be able to run in them (unlike Adidas NMDs or Nike TNs)

    • If you're running 150kms per week and wear a pair of shoes for 2 weeks and 300kms, you're doing it wrong. I, and almost all the runners I know, have many pairs of shoes on rotation. Different types of shoes for different types of runs, and rotating the shoes helps them last longer.
