Tldr; won't honor warranty, ghosts you, then tries to provide fake return addresses when you file paypal claim.
Did you get any resolution to your case? The exact same thing happened to me with a Motorola phone I. Bought from a HK company. PayPal didn’t care initially until I started getting in touch with their marketing/PR department in Sydney. I wrote a polite but stern email to them and got a reply within days. I ended up getting a full refund through PayPal after this…

Yep, ended up getting a resolution - had to make a call to paypal and escalate it. Overall took me about 1 and a half months to get my money back.
