Mount & Blade Warband is possibly the best game I have ever played on PC. It's a medieval fighter in which you can shoot arrows with a bow, ride horses, have sword duels and so much more.

  Great game. There are lots of mods, but of particular note is a mod called Battle Time which allows coop play as well…a bit finicky, but works.

  Thanks heaps. Not for the games, which aren't really my style, but for the Steam link showing which games I can use on Steam (and with links to lists for other download sites such as Gamersgate).

  Just a heads up, I just purchased Warband from the above link and the key you get is incompatible for downloading through steam. To download through steam requires the retail version, with the key format 5x5 (eg. 1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7-JK8LM-NOP9Q). This version gives you a 4x4 Taleworld serial. Only other option would be to add the game as a non-steam game, with the only thing you miss out on are the steam achievements.
