Thanks OP; been looking at this monitor for some time now, but the total price seems a bit high.

    • Ofcourse, just wanted to post for people

      1. Who have access to EPP and
      2. Who are looking to buy a new TV

I know most of them wouldn't suite both the conditions but i felt it is a good deal to atleast let people know. Cheers!

  • For context, bought the curved monitor from tgg commercial for $178. Guessing these TV's on sale would give a much higher discount?

Right now I can't recommend buying from Samsung directly as they are having significant logistics issues with their Australian operation, I'm talking about weeks of delays as they haven't caught up from the backlog caused by omicron and the recent floods. If it's an urgent purchase I would strongly advise people to shop somewhere else regardless of the savings you might make.

      fair downvote I think.

I think you've provided a very balanced view — I'd suggest they cease accepting orders, they're a diabolical disgrace. I bought a fridge 28/1, qn85a 85" 30/1 & q900 30/1 — constantly emailing/texting me about delivery, confirming, then advising no stock the night prior, logistics issues and now they've just got MIA. randomly I received the TV wall mounts last week, 7 weeks after and without any indication when the tv will arrive. I also have the "quality" $299 wall mount installation that no one can advise where the (profanity) it is. the fridge is still allegedly "no stock in Victoria" and the (profanity) sound bar, don't get me started. (profanity) Samsung, you'd be better off with a TCL or some other two bit brand, at least you can get stock and they don't constantly lie to you.

oh and it's not as if they take your cash after it's delivered either, they've literally fleeced me of thousands, holding me random and I've just watched the prices subsequently drop — I'm not salty though… yeah nah

Their after sale service is the worst of the brand names. Very slow response time, if at all and no effort trying to resolve, speaking from experience with a recent mobile phone purchased direct from their online store. Even Sony and Kogan seem like Apple in comparison.

Totally agree. And if you need any support if your product is faulty it's a total farce and a nightmare. Checkout product review which gels with my experiences

    • Yes, I also suggest people to avoid Samsung store at the moment unless you don't need the items urgently and ok to receive them in a couple of weeks (or months). I've preordered the Freestyle projector from EPP store that's due to be delivered from mid Feb and I still haven't got it yet.

Tried calling support a few times and got "we are experiencing high volume of calls and unable to accept your call, try again later". Live chat just auto ends after a while…email doesn't get replied to as well. Try calling them yourself (1300362603) just to test how bad they are! Good luck if you need to call them for warranty issues!

Oh, I managed to get a call through and my case has been 'escalated' and would be hearing from them within 5 business days, thats 3 weeks ago.

Asking for a refund would be a fight just to get through to support. And if you manage to ask for a refund, it would be up to a month to get it (check Samsung twitter/fb page).

Craziness…….very very poor after sales support.

The latest dumb product, from the Samsung design department of throwing shit at a wall without understanding much, is a 24" curved monitor.
