There are other Classic sets on sale too, with I think the next cheapest per piece being:

LEGO 11015 Classic Around The World - 5.2c/piece

This deal for 10698 is 5.7c/piece but also includes the box.

    • Which one do you think is better? I havent really played with much free hand lego before would the deal you posted be better or the original one above? :)

      • If you don't need the box (I have some and don't like them much as the lid doesn't clamp on) then 11015 is the better deal.

        Part out values are:

        10698: USD69.21

        11015: USD87.59

10698 is probably going to be retired soon so an intact set will jump up in price once that happens.

By comparison, the best price I've seen recently was back in December 2021 where 11016 (1200pc) dropped to $40 after cashback, with a part out value of USD103.60.

        • Awesome, thanks for your help :) will probably get the 11015

        • What does part out values mean? I'm new to leggo, is it ok to buy the one in OP (10698) and also the one you linked to (11015), or am I doubling up?

@[Deactivated]: If you were to buy the individual bricks of a set one by one from third party Lego brick sellers, you end up with the part out value. It's a rough indication of how sought after the Lego bricks are in the particular set. Therefore 11015 likely has rarer or more sought after pieces.

The other way to look at a set is how many pieces you know you'll use many of e.g. 2x4s and how many pieces are not as much use to your builds (1x1 eyes).

        • Thanks for that. Picked up the 11015 for the kids. Will be their first general purpose set.

    Thanks! got one

  • Man just bought it two days ago for 55, good deal

  • I am currently storing all those legos in multiple boxes. Can anyone share your organization boxes and their link to purchase? I used to sort it by colors and wheels etc as separate boxes

I've got a bunch of these that stack up nicely and side by side fit perfectly in our IKEA cube storage.
Compartments can be used or removed.

    • I use this sort of thing. Just check that they pull all the way out or that you can cut the catches off them easily. You'll want to get a whole tray out often enough.
