            @Muzeeb: yep. i paid near that for my Artist. sounds OK, but after a while you really want something that 'feels' better. As a recent entrant myself, I'd advise anyone to avoid a no-namer and get am entry level (or better if you can) well reviewed guitar

              @perfectlydark: To clarify I was meaning the Amazon bass will be shite. I actually quite like artist guitars as a very good entry level experience and value for money.

              A bit harder if you don't know what to look for but there are can be awesome value in well cared for quality second hand guitars. I have purchased multiple in the past, play with them for a while, then sell them on for little loss and occasionally for profit.
