Suggestion for a Leather Laptop Bag with Luggage Strap

Hi all,

Have to start travelling again for work purposes. I wonder if anyone has a suggestion for a leather laptop bag (not backpack), that also has a luggage strap so it can slide down the hand carry handle and be carried around like that?

I saw many nice leather briefcase or laptop bag, but can't find any with a luggage strap.

thanks,
Jacky

how much are you willing to spend? i know of a place that gives you an option to put one of those on, but they are very expensive.

    • if it's good quality leather, happy to pay up to $500. I didn't know that they can be added separately.

      • yeah it's more than that lol

look the most similar to the style you linked below, but they have other styles as well. you can add a wheeled luggage strap as an option on them for an extra 25 USD.

        • that's what I wanted! have you ordered from them before? thanks for the link!

@JackyS: i haven't ordered from them directly, though i was very close, but i ended up getting one of their bags on ebay for half price (it was 4 years old and used, a bit scratched up)

keep in mind that the prices on their site are in USD, and shipping to AU is about 90 - 100 dollars (i asked them a month or two ago before i found the bag on ebay)

600 USD = about 800 AUD (not including shitty exchange rates) so they are pretty pricey, but there are not many people still making bags of this quality around.

  • Are you sure you want a leather laptop bag? It will be VERY heavy. I wanted one for ages, finally got one then didn't use it again after the first couple of times as it just added way too much weight.

    • Great point - never thought of that. Thanks for pointing it out.

If you can get one with a backpack strap option it will make a difference. A massive weight on one shoulder really hurts
