Artiss Motorised Height Adjustable Standing Desk Frame $211 White / $235 Black Delivered @ MyPlaza via Myer Marketplace

150

was about to pull the trigger on another frame only standing desk post but found this instead.

difference is this is only a single motor and no memory for height.

advantage though I think is it extends wider at 130cm and lifts to 120cm. Though I wished the height dropped just a tiny lower to the usual 70cm but I won't cry over 2cm.

I got it for free using Myer One and Commbank rewards points

    Most likely definitely single motor

    • Got 2x F80 arms with 22" monitors on one of these. No problems.

Just did a search and they look to be the same stand, and Myer is fulfilling through MyDeal it states on their page

    • Different models, on my phone so flicking between tabs to compare specs, seems like the dimensions are a couple mill different. But very similar

    • wow, i should try to cancel my order.

      • no cancellations.. but free returns.. bummer

      • Where can we buy the desk top for this?

        • +2

Ikea, bunnings, or starting from a tree.

        • Bunnings sell solid wood benchtops typically between the kitchen and timber yard areas for about $60. Super cheap, and you can get them to cut it down to size if you need.

  • Had this model for 3 years, no real complaints. Paid $242.10 back then for it, delivered.

Electric desk without memory settings seems like a half-solution to me

    • Second this - I actively use my desk to go from sitting and standing throughout the day. Absolute PITA if you're looking to do this, otherwise if it's infrequent, I could imagine foregoing the memory settings.

On the first desk that I bought 4+ years ago, I just marked on the leg where my "ideal" heights were.
Don't get me wrong, having memory settings is much easier, but the "mark your height" method is not too bad.

  • Single motor?

  • Definitely get the dual motor ones of these. I have one, and they are actually Loktek brand. So you might be able to find cheaper alternatives under different names.

This is the one, but paid half the price a few years back.

  • bought this a few years ago. The top is a bit wobbly. Anyone have a clue how to fix? tried by taking it off and putting back again but not luck

    • The classic turn it off and on.
Maybe add some padding between the frame and the top.
Parter bought a dual motor, different brand, and it came with some rubber joint to fit around the screws to prevent vibrations/wobbliness (probably not a word^^)

  • Any thoughts on the following? https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07DLKPV1T/ref=ppx_yo_d…
