Ordered this from Aldi in Jan. It went missing with AusPost. Impossible to get a hold of anyone from Aldi online and email's have been ignored for weeks. Finally raised a disput with credit card. Would avoid purchasing anything from Aldi online as they no longer have a customer service number to reach anyone on.
I’ve placed two orders so far and had no problem. Based on your experience if there is a problem then no one will look after it…
how do those compared to the humanscale brand?
Had this for 2 years, no probs. My 2 x 27's are almost at max height at 54cm from desk to centre of screen. I prefer this style to the aldi one because although my monitors are far from the desk you still can't see the arms, just the silver bar - its a much cleaner and therefore desirable look in my opinion. Also this product supports up to 8kg per arm vs 6.5 for the Aldi one if that makes a diff to anyone. I can see how the usb ports might serve some users, but not I sir, not I.
Can I 1. Mount it upside down to the roof of the Caravan? 2. Remove the C clamp to have it directly bolted on to the roof?
I bought these for $120 6 years ago. Only issue with these is that you need some space between the desk and wall behind to push the arms back otherwise the monitors can be too close to your face. Looking back I would just purchase two separate single arms
I got these on an Ikea Berkant, just a rule of thumb; get an extra piece of plywood under the mount or it'll dig in nicely on the berkant finish (i stuffed up on that front) and using a 32" and 24" monitor on it and it's slightly tilted forward due to the weight but holds them up fine.
It's not a bad mount overall. Just don't shove anything too heavy on it.
