Duracell Procell Batteries Already Dead

Hey guys,

So I bought this deal : -

Its been around 2 years. And all the batteries i bought that were not used till this point are already dead. And the ones i had in clocks etc are leaking. Pretty disappointed, I would except unused brand new batteries to last more than 2 years…?Anyone else had issues?

What was the expiry date on them? Contact them and see what they say. Maybe they'll offer replacement.

  • Seems dodgy to me

  • Pretty sure these aren't even "alkaline" batteries, meaning super low quality :/
Given that chemistry, 2 years and leaks might be all you get …
At a bare minimum, when buying batteries, try to always get "Alkaline" as they should have ~ 10 year shelf life!

  • These are Duracells, I thought they would be alright at the very least. yeah i had assumed 10 years or so longevity.
