Is is possible to pick up a brand new i3 processor laptop for under $400?
If so, where? I'm not an expert at doing these deal searches. I'm just a cheapskateasian but I don't know how to find laptop bargains. Already looked at sites: MSY, DSE, Centre.com, MLN
I will only be used for word processing, some simple programming, and project management software. No games and no HD graphics or DVD drives required.

+1 for the DM1, I got it for $350 at JBHIFI and added another 4gb of RAM for around $25

some vietnamese lady and she said the price of the HP laptop for $288 is now $399. No special for me.

Its $485. 15,6" led screen, 500gb hdd, 2gb ram upgradable to 8gb, etc.
cheapest i3 ive found so far.
And just ring officeworks so they can assist you which store its available to save you time & fuel.

Might be worth checking whirlpool forums.
Or if you do go ebay, look for a big seller and google them, if they are bad there will be a post on them somewhere.
