Good gear Sonos, been using for 10 plus years, playbar, sub and 2 x play 1's in lounge, play 5's in family room and office, play 3 in daughters bedroom, play 1 on back patio. Never had a issue.
Is the Sonos sub needed to get a full, better sound? Thanks.

Sub makes a substantial difference, also, it's just a great sub. Changed my audio experience quite dramatically, having only had single sound bars in the past.
Maybe not needed but makes a big difference especially in a lounge/theatre room.
