Seeking Convection Microwave Oven Recommendations

Getting a new kitchen and looking to get a regular oven and also a secondary convection microwave oven (trying to save space and to get rid of our regular microwave, like the flexibility of being able to use it as a secondary oven).

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Does anyone have access to the Choice Magazine online review of them please?

Thanks! :-)

Do you have a price point?

  • Have a look at IKEA.

They do have to be installed in the cabinetry, and need to be hard wired in by an electrician, but you cant beat the price.
I have a main oven and a microwave convection oven - but an older model. The current ones even have fan forced convection. You might be able to get away with only having that oven.

if you are a member of your local library, that library may subscribe to choice magazine. if they do, the magazine is available through the flipster app. good luck.

  • https://www.choice.com.au/about-us/products-and-services/mem… is the link to the subscription page.

That way you help fund the reports that you want and not rely on others to pay for you.

  • Kicked the free standing oven/stove top out during a wall out reno 20 years ago. Grabbed a cheap 2nd hand full size Convection oven and a free hot plate at same time, happy as.

Sadly it died big time a year ago, grabbed another freebie while still mulling over the final reno look.

We will never have a normal oven again. When we finally do buy the final one, it will be a 3 in one…steamer option as well, and cabinet mount it properly.

If anything, a 2nd smaller micro only in the cup board or on the bench top may be an option also…please consider.

It will be 22yrs soon…and should have a final soon.
