Credit / Debit Cards for Google YouTube Premium Hack

Could not find an open thread on YT Premium and threads regarding cards able to be used. So I'm making this post.

Instead of spamming all commenters from the YT Premium posts asking what card they use, perhaps it would be better to make a post and ask about the cards people used that were successful. Thanks in advance.

Also wanna add, that I tried creating a new google acc. but I can't go past the step of needing to provide the mobile number. You can't provide them with your Aus number, right?

Effort is proven to be much of a hassle haha. Also wanna add if I wanna add a family member do they need to be on the relevant country?

            @PeeDee: Yes. You need to follow all the steps of the "hack". I think you've skipped some steps.

      My NAB credit card has huge currency exchange or international transaction fees when when paying in AUD or selecting to pay in AUD but to an overseas merchant

          What the..these are some of the cards I have. I am clearing missing something. Perhaps my google acc. Is not registered for the relevant country, along with diff. payment address.

      I used that too! Didn't work! Even though I used Surfshark to get into India. The step where things stopped was at the payment method.

    Commbank worked fine but it had minor transaction fees.
    Switched to ANZ and no fees now.

    I did it with an ANZ Visa, charged in Rupees from YT India and it worked perfectly fine.

    If a CC is added into normal Google account and later its added to another account for YT Premium purposes using VPN (india) does google detect that ? i.e same credit card being used in two different region accounts

      I have commbank CC with no international transaction charges, so ideally i want to use that but its already added into my normal Google Pay account ! TIA

    Westpac Debit works fine - one of the VPN related tricks it actually does work for.

    I did with commbank card. But only 36 cents was charged. After few days they cancelled my premium and refunded 36 cents. Are you guys having this case?
    Make more clear, i used Australia created gmail. Von was lat. A free one.

    As of this month, my payment did not go through. Was using ANZ card, tried to add ING debit card then tried Wise.ocm virtual card but I'm getting "This card can't be used" error when I try to add to the Argentina YT account. No solution yet..

      Hey I have the same problem with Wise. I had 2 years of YouTube Premium with Wise MasterCard and my card just expired, I tried to add a new card, I cannot add the Wise Visa card, same as your message “this card can’t be added”
      Have you found a work around ?

          I could add my card as payment method to Youtube by adding my card through Google Wallet but then the status of the card stay as Not verified / Unverified in YouTube.
          So still not working

          Alright, so I have contacted Google Support and they just confirmed my taught.

          It all because of VISA

          Here is what they said:

          I've checked our resources for you and it shows that due to an exchange rate decision made by the Argentina government, YouTube will not be able to process transactions in ARS from internationally-issued
          Visas credit cards.
          I'm afraid to say that the payment nor verification will not be approved under this cards.
          I recommend using a
          MasterCard, AMEX or Discover card instead.

          So if you use an Amex or MasterCard, shouldn’t have any issues
