Cricket 22 doesn't show up on PC for me (with Game Pass Ultimate)

      • That looks wrong, I believe it's only on Xbox and Cloud

Is this all we’re getting in April? Not that I’ll have the time to play any of them

    • I feel like GOTG will be the last big hit AAA title until starfield in November really hope I’m wrong..

Fairly new to Game Pass, only subbed for a few months and was under the impression that it was a couple of games each month with at least 1 big title.
Especially considering the amazing titles for March

And not sure what the hype is with Starfield, all the Xbox fanboys are pumping it up like it’s the next best thing to come along since sliced bread. Considering we haven’t seen any gameplay of it.

Anybody can make a great cinematic trailer. Battlefield 2042, Fallout 76, Cyberpunk 2077 all had amazing cinematic trailers, how did those turn out lol

        • Fo 76 and cyberpunk actually quite enjoyable now:.. battlefield tho…

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: And it took those titles how long to be fixed? Too much hyping from gamers. People need to calm down. Isn’t Starfield being developed by the same studio who did Fallout 76…?

Hope Starfield lives up to the hype, I’m craving a good space game. The Dead Space trilogy being the last amazing space game I played

    • They do 2 waves a month. One at the start and one in the middle.

Feel absolutely robbed buying this game at launch, it was an utter shambles for the first 3-4 months of release, they’ve released about 40 patches for it since launch. It’s actually half playable finally after a good 4 months of fixing all the issues - still plenty there.

This is the last time I ever buy a big ant game until months/years after release or when it comes to game pass.

Feels like that's been the case for every recent release of theirs, their last solid game was probably Ricky Ponting 2007

      • +3

This game was another level of bad. They rushed it out to try and capitalize on the ashes and the World Cup. They literally put 0 hours of testing into it

        • +2

Yeh it was shocking seeing as it wasn’t a huge amount different to Cricket 19. Horrible graphical glitches, glitches in the stats and scorecards. With the right tinkering of sliders the game itself is probably one of the best gameplay wise but the state games release in these days is disgusting.

I believe they have obtained the AFL License now too so will be interesting to see if they’re spread a little thin

      • That was Codemasters, not Big Ant

        • Ah of course it was! ☺️

    • I gave up on Big Ant after their AFL game on the Xbox 360. That was the buggiest piece of trash I ever played.

      Apparently not much has changed.

      • Aussie Rules Footy on the NES is still genuinely the most enjoyable AFL game ever made. And it wasn't even that good.

Worth it just for the boundary umpire with a flat-top saying "Out of bounds……on the full"

        • the players running from side to side look like dancing girls doing the can-can

      • quack quack quack quack quack

Oh yeah. Played the crap out of that. Always as the West Indies as they were insanely fast between wickets

      • My pro tip:- the developers clearly didnt know much about cricket, because you are able to basically stack fielders on the leg side behind the batsman (despite the normal bodyline rules about only being able to put two fielders there).

I used to just stack the field and bowl bouncers, would generally only take five deliveries to get each batsman out.

  • Is T.Du in this?

This game gets an update about 4 times a week and is riddled with bugs.

Yet I continue to play it regularly and will continue to get each new version. Maybe I'm just a cricket loyalist, maybe I have a lot of time for Australian dev teams.

Or maybe I'm just a sucker.
