Residential Switchboard Upgrade - Electrician Recommendations S/W Sydney

Hi OZB Brainstrust,

I need to see if I can get some decent recommendations to see if anyone knows of a good electrician to approach in regards to getting the switchboard on the side of my house upgraded/brought up to modern standards. My house was built back in 1985 and the switchboard still, for the most part, utilises ceramic fuses etc and is just quite old/tired.

I'm pretty picky about trades that I get to come and perform work at my property so I'm putting the question out here to see if anyone who happens to live in South West Sydney (Campbelltown/Macarthur region) has any trusted sparkies that they could recommend to perform this sort of work. Obviously trying to see if I can get a few different recommendations so I can do the due diligence/leg work and get a few quotes together etc etc.

I understand that such work can be pricy but I'm more concerned with getting a reputable sparkie who is professional, reliable, and does clean work.

I would welcome any recommendations/suggestions on this matter.

    shouldn't be that pricey, should be less than $1000

        $300 worth of breakers at $30 each
        $100 for an breaker box
        6 hours at $100 per hour

        maybe another $400 if the existing swithboard enclosure needs to be replaced
