"Free" (+ $5.95 Shipping) 4GB Class 10 SD Card from Zazz

14

Just dropped into my inbox:

Thanks for your support. As you know, a one-day site like Zazz can only be successful because of the love and support from people like you.

We want to send you a big (virtual) "thank you". As a token of our appreciation, can we interest you in this offer? Free 4GB Class 10 SD card - just pay for the shipping!

Not much use to me, but I thought I might get some bites here! ;)

To clarify: The e-mail also said, "By the way, if you have any friends you think may be interested in this deal, you can go ahead and let them know as well. We won't get mad."

I am wondering about the fact that it says "SD", and not "SDHC", though. Those old 4GB SD cards have limited compatibility.

    Zazz selling crap like always.

"Just Pay Shipping!" How can they justify $5.95 shipping? They are doing it COTD style.

Yep. Can't even find anyone that bothers to sell class 10 4gb cards…

MSY have several 4GB SD cards for $5 and a class 10 8GB for $8.

No deal in my opinion. Move along people.

will MSY deliver it to you for $0.95?

        • +2

Yes. Envelope + stamp costs less than that.

        • +1

Perhaps not. But they aren't claiming to be giving it away free.

        • +3

They say its "FREE" but they won't let you add it as part of the shipping cap. If is "FREE" you should be able to get it shipped for free if you ordered something else.

This is similar to COTD "FREE" days where the shipping increases proportional to the quantity ordered.

How much will this free item cost me?

    $5.30 and branded (kingston).
    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/4gb-micro-sd-tf-card-with-sd-ca…
    $4.30 unbranded.

Both "free shipping". In fact you can actually buy things from DX that cost less than a buck, shipped free.

Also, I would recommended anyone to get microSDs over SDs. means you will have more device cross compat (with an adapter of course).

    • personally i like Zazz and have bought a few handy gadgies and gizmos over tha years….they get my support!!!

      • Zazz isn't a "bargain site", it's a "gadget site". So Zazz is a good site to find new gadgets.

Then all you need to do is a bit of research, and you will usually find the same items about significantly lower prices elsewhere.

Unfair, perhaps… but that is the OzBargain way.

shoppingsquare has an 8gb class 10 for $6.45 delivered http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/JoyFlash-8GB-SD-card-class-10-20M…

Agree no deal here, Also why would someone want only 4 GB for a CLASS 10 card ?

      • +2

Because it has ZAZZ on the label, covering up the real supplier's details (or lack thereof)

I HAVE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE.

  • terrible deal.

  • This may be useful for anyone still using a pre-SDHC device, with 4GB being the upper threshold for pure SD cards. But you'd want to check first, that the card will work in your device.

  • This deal has been re-worded a little and repeated. Was nearly going to post it in a new thread but found this earlier one (and comments) first. Whew! Lucky me! :)
