    Did I tell you we have a Tannery? It's the last one. The tannery - the one in Australia - it's 100% Australian made (really - the tannery was made in Australia!)

    Last Sheepskin Footwear Tannery in Australia,
    Located 31-35 Gilbertson Road, Laverton North, Victoria

    There use to be 172 Tanneries in Australia, Leather and Sheepskin combined..

    However there is only about 6 now….

      Appreciate that you keep it open, Blundstone were more than happy to offshore all their boot manufacturing (except gummies). The tannery is a point of difference. Hopefully one day you'll find a good domestic source for the rubber sole. Know nothing can be perfect though, so will just try and encourage what we've got left.

      Normally the 12 US which is Our size is a UK 11
      However we went one size up because of the Dense Sheepskin inside the footwear…

    Are these any better than what was on sale last year?
    I bought a couple of the blue ones last April (one for me, one for my partner). They were pretty comfy initially, but the lining on the sole has worn off almost completely and the blue outer colour has faded and they look much older than they really are.

    I'd be happy to pay more if they lasted longer.

        Curious as to what the difference is, mine are 2 years old and work great. Minor (very minor) part has a slightly loose thread. I wasn't able to clean them gently (ended up breaking a few rules) to get rid of the smell but they're still going great.
