Who Has Isuzu Stock?

I am looking to buy an Isuzu MU-X LST, brand new. I have called 5 places so far, and none have stock.
A long shot, but no harm in asking?….
Anyone on here know of any places that have Isuzu stock available by end of June?

  • One of my earlier cars was hard to get - I contacted a vehicle broker and they managed to get a new car for me from QLD (I am in VIC).

Being a broker, they got the car for $5000 off RRP for me too.

    • which broker? may i ask

      • I used onlineauto.com.au they found the trim level and colour I wanted that had just arrived at a dealership, saved me $5K off the dealer price (dealer wasn't willing to budge on price with me a normal customer) and was delivered to my door a week later.

        • how long ago was this

  • won't happen today

          Used for stupid $….

Whats funnier, his caravan was ready quicker than he got a tow rig..

        • Not a Toyota I should imagine.

I ordered my D-Max in April last year. I took ownership in September (I got told an ETA of December).

Unfortunately you might need to put yourself on the waitlist and hope others cancel their orders so you move up the queue.

I joined a MU-X owners page and a 12 month wait for delivery seems to be pretty common. If you are in a hurry, I genuinely think your options are to either do a ring-around yourself, or engage a broker.

  • No chance. The wait list is llloooooonnnnnngggg.

  • what would be the best equivalent to the MU-X?

    • There are only poor cousins. (Said with no bias at all while waiting impatiently for delivery).

Prado, Everest, Pajero Sport, Fortuner. BUT, why do you want one? Off road ability, towing? If you don’t need either of these and just want 7seat SUV there are plenty more softer options.

    • I still think you are in trouble if you need a car by the end of June - you will be wanting luck on your side regardless of model. The Pajero Sport is probably the shortest wait of any of them. I also hear the Everest isn't too bad supply-wise at the moment, but the flipside is that a new model is coming out later in the year, and I think you'd be crazy not to wait for it (as the upper two models finally have a diesel 6 cylinder).

      • But OP may not need the 6 cylinder if not towing a heavy load.

IMO if you want something by June you’ll most likely need to buy used.

          I concur
