Travelling overseas, need a Mi-Fi. Recommendations?

As per title, I'm travelling to Jo'burg in a couple of months and am looking for a pocket wifi rather than a USB dongle as I'll be using it with my iPod too for Skype. I'm flexible on price but don't want to pay more than I have to. I WILL be gaming a bit with it also.

    use dc-unlocker to remove carrier locks

    you may be able to call up and ask them to (say you are moving overseas)

    You definately should pick up an external battery.

    These things can be notorious battery hogs and you would want an external battery if you want it to last you the day.
