  Numbers wise capsules never adds up. Only advantage is it is convivence with less cleaning.

  Say on average it cost you 50c a pot, at 6 cups a day over three years it cost you about 3.3K

  Now work backwards, say you spend 1K on a coffee machine, you are left with $104 per month to spend on beans/grounds over three years. That is price for some very good beans and at 1K you have some very nice machine to pick from.

  I too got the machine… Not bad. Capsules I got were close to expiry and the bulk of them lost their airtight seal even before expiry.

  Not bad for convenience but I reckon I'll stick to a proper espresso machine :/

    I agree. I’ve been a long time L’Or capsule user but something has gone wrong in their production process over the last year or so with too many capsules losing their seal well before expiry. As soon as the capsules’ seals don’t balloon anymore, most of the taste is gone.
