HOW DA GHELL TO CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

    • Scroll down, ‘About this item’

  • The size is found in the description. It confused me too!

    • -1

Separate listing for each size? What a unbelievably stupid way to select sizes.

  • Awesome find!

Few other shoes including fuel cell prism (sub $70) on sale

    • +1

Ive bit the bullet and decided to purchase on your recommendation. Appreciated 👍

      • -1

        Which one more or prism?

        • +1

          Prism

          • -1

            @Jenko1: cool.
I've got the prism and love it so was waiting for it to drop in price again.
Great all round shoe but I use it for faster paced runs.

            • @gimli: Awesome. I'll bust it out on my threshold run, will use my stability shoes for the longer slower runs. All I need now is the hrm pro to come on sale so I can get my zone training on point 😅

              • -1

@Jenko1: what watch do you use?

                • @gimli: Fenix 6 pro.

                  • +1

                    @Jenko1: cool.
FYI got fr935 + HRM pro. I reckon wrist HR is just as accurate for most runs except short intervals (sub 3 min intervals) where 10-20s lag with wrist HR might be an issue.
Only caveat is to make sure its tight around the wrist before each run!

Based on DC rainmaker reviews. If i were to buy another HRM I'd probably go Wahoo Tickr and save some money

                    • @gimli: Appreciate your thoughts. Will def keep the wahoo in mind

              • +1

@Jenko1: Prism has a medial post.. It's a light stability shoe.

  • +1

    is this for overpronators?

    • They're neutral plush runners, so stability isn't their focus like the Kayano's. So probably not the best for overpronators, but take that with a grain of salt :)

    • +1

      No. These are neutral shoes

      • Thanks for clarifying. Neutral doesn’t work for me. I had Fresh Foam Vongo and it was the best shoe I’d ever used, compared to Brooks and Asics. I should’ve bought 20 pairs at the time. I just can’t find them anymore. I think the model name has changed. Kayano’s were horrible for me….

        • I'm an overpronator, I'm giving the fuel cell prism a crack for $70. They supposedly offer more support than the fresh foam. I doubt they'll give me the support of my kayanos.or adrenalines, but keen to give it a crack for $70

          • +2

            @Jenko1: For Overpronator’s:-

            1. Fresh Foam 860v11 and v12
            2. Fresh Foam X 860v12
            3. FuelCell Prism v2
            4. Fresh Foam X Vongo V5
  • How do we know NB shoes are normal width or wide?

    • +1

It says in the description, standard, 2e or 4e.

  • Thanks OP. Got a pair of these and Beacons

  • Thanks Op, also bought some Hierro v6, $81.52 baaaargain

  • Great find - picked up a pair even though I don't realllly need them ;-)

  • +1

    Great deal!

Note there are separate listings not just for size, but for wide and narrow too.

    • Thanks! I didn't pick up on the width.

  • +22

    • +1

Someone should put this in the OP details.

  • Picked up 3 pairs, thanks OP!

    • -2

3 pairs? why? you only need one pair.

      • +3

bought three so others don't get a chance.

  • Thanks OP, grabbed a pair. Proper bargain. For those wondering, the different sizes are listed separately.

    • Even the widths have different listings!

  • +1

Grip on these shoes isn’t great considering how often it rains wouldn’t risk it

  • Have a brand new 1080v11 still waiting to be used in the closet, this price is impossible for me to say no to even though newer versions are releasing soon I believe.

    • V12 already out

  • Thanks OP, grabbed a pair for the wifey as well!

  • Argh, I accidentally got 2e instead of standard 😭

    • I did the same thing except the other way around. The seller said they can't change orders so I cancelled the order and reordered it.

  • Thanks OP, bought 2 pairs

    • save some for others to buy!

  • I think you don't need ebay plus to buy?

  • wow what a find OP, great daily trainers/recovery shoes. Cheers bigly!

  • There are other shoes on sale also. Not only these ones.

  • Awesome! Thanks OP

Grabbed his and hers Propels v3
I loved the v1 of these. Excited to try the new ones.

  • found some older style fresh foam vongo at a shoe store in homebush, for $90. That will do me, Inknow they are for me the best. thanks anyway OP

  • What the difference between men and women styles?
Thinking of getting US 11 which is 9UK

    • +3

Women's are normally B width which are narrower. Men's are normally D width, with E width option (wider)

  • +5

Trail shoes if anybody is looking for a pair of offroaders
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384819243393?
    and wide - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384776405314?

    • Thanks! Grabbed the GTX!

  • +1

The sizes are different compared to Adidas.

26.7 cm in Adidas is US 9.5 while on the ebay link its between 8.5 and 9

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384794323148

    https://www.adidas.com.au/help-topics-size_charts.html

    • Thanks for bringing this up. I use 9 Adidas and ordered 9 prism. Might be too big then? Should I cancel and get 8.5? I thought half size is the same length just slightly wider.

      • +1

Order both sizes, return the shoes that won’t fit

      • My understanding too but Id guess thats where no width is offered. It makes less sense when they offer widths, 2e 4e or D…etc.

      • I ordered my Adidas size and one size lower, will return the one which does not fit.

      • Just want to report back that NB size US 9 fits as well as Adidas size US 9 for me. So not sure why the sizing guides are different.

    • I'll take my chances… Will return if it doesn't fit. Too lazy to order the second shoes and have to return one.

Also most sizes have gone now

    • The nb trail show is 🔥

  • Got a fresh foam roav v2 for $57 but want to try a fuel cell shoe but cant decide between the FuelCell Propel RMX v2, FuelCell Propel v2;v3 and FuelCell Prism v2. Anyone tried the Propel RMX v2?

  • No more NB for me. The quality is cheap and they don’t last. Holes form in the mesh upper and the foam is exactly that, cheap foam. These are essentially very limited use disposable shoes.

    • -1

      Depends.

    • Holes form in the mesh upper

This happened with my Adidas as well. The shoes were very comfortable though.

    • Toe nails?

  • Where are the prism's, am I blind?

  • how do you guys pick your shoes from so many different models ?

    • +2

Research…depends what you need them for, how fast you run, how long you run. To some extent your running style /gait.

Then you have the joy of picking between the essentially 5 different models from 5 different companies that do the same thing. In which case it comes down to the most comfortable or best fit. Which, obviously, is impossible with online

Reality is that if you don’t know, research and try on your shortlist in the shop and then either buy in the shop (and subsequently on line) or not buy and wait around for a sale.

If you just want a pair of casual shoes for walking around, then probably it’s all much of a muchness.

      • +1

Agree. Most NB shoes are pretty average. For neutral running shoes though, I would rate 1080s, Zantes, Beacons. Mainly cos I run a lot and buy a lot of running shoes.

  • Thanks, OP

10.5US - Still available, was able to pick one up.

  • Thanks OP for the deal, shame i missed great deals again lol

  • +1

Which ones are the best bang for the buck?????

  • Thanks OP. Bought a pair of the Fresh Foam Tempo’s but also saw this were on sale and it seemed like a pretty good price! I think they are a new release as well.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384819243393

    • 🔥 to bad they don't have size 10 or 11

  • Got a couple of pairs of the More v3. Luckily my size is there.
Just got a pair from running Warehouse this week and lace loop broke first tighten.
Still got ok lockdown and did 10km.
    Good shoe for slow running.
Thanks OP for a great find!

    • Fyi - Running warehouse have 30 day no questions return policy

      • Yeah I've used it before. I'll wait to see if these show up first!

  • Anyone wanting to swap 10.5 for size 11 in Melbourne? I think i ordered .5 bigger in fresh foam v3.

  • I was thinking of not buying any more shoes for a few months and then saw this deal.
just ordered a pair… Thanks OP.
