Man that is a busy watch (I didn’t neg u)

      • +1

It's a long time classic but this is obviously a later evolution .. I bought a new one about 20 years ago .. actually hasn't changed too much! Lol

Would prefer the titanium build of course.

      • The JY80 looks like Optimus Prime's face

      • +1

Citizen Nighthawk has about 700 markings on the face but this looks like much more.

    • +1

      Ahhh my eyes are bleeding

      • It’s a Where’s Wally watch.

    • +1

If u like busy, look no where else. Bought this in same price and love it.

  • Any watches you recommend for small wrist size?

    • what kinda style? divers? classic? chrono?

      any favourite brands? seiko? citizen?

      • Prefer classic Seiko or Citizen, steel case and band

        • +1

          Citizen Eco-Drive BM8180-03E is 37mm $199.

Another option is to wait for the Seiko SNK models to go on special again. Old post here.

        • Look up Seiko 5 Sports. Just got one myself.

    • Adina country master. The more expensive version has a pretty small dial

https://adinawatches.com.au/product/gents-100m-countrymaster… that's the one i have, and i think it's got a smaller dial than all the watches i own, or at least on par with the smallest.

scroll down and watch the ad for some nostalgia

      • +1

They sell about 60,000 of these Country Masters each year.

Are these Citizen watches still made in Japan? I think Citizen has off-shored a lot of their production now have they not?

    • +1

You can check a few watches here .. in the specs it listed the place of production …
      https://www.seiyajapan.com/collections/citizen

      • Even the "Made in Japan" ones will often have cases & bracelets sourced from China - you can never really tell what "made in X" means any more…. Sinilar to 2 of my "Swiss Made" watches with German bodies

    • +1

It varies, I got Japanese made, China assembled, Malaysia assembled and also Thailand assembled in the last couple years purchases from Starbuy..

      • +1

where you purchase (eg starbuy) from is not really relevant

  • +1

    Great watch, highly recommend

I wish that there were a sale on this:

    Sigh!

Ah green. The number 1 colour amongst geniuses

  • +1

Nice one! I got the chrono version for $329

  • Do they ever come cheaper than this price?
    https://www.seiyajapan.com/collections/seiko/products/seiko-…

Also has anyone got it that can comment/review pls.
Like this and the all silver but cant find the same on seiko website at all. They have gps solar - perhaps superseded models.

    • +3

radio controlled .. I'd rather gps controlled time that you can buy for that price … bit hard to use the radio waves in australia

  • Aha makes sense, so newer model I suppose.
Thy don't have any in with clean white/silver dials/faces
Oh well, Guess I'll wait for the right one. Lol

    • What about the Seiko SSH104J or SSH093J1 or SSH047J or SSH063J?

      • They look really good but bit out of my range. Lol

  • +1

Thanks OP, nabbed the blue dial one, been waiting for it to drop again.
