Hyundai Split System Air Conditioner on Kogan, No Energy Rating Label

Hi,

So I am checking out this cheap split on the Kogan site, and I can't see a Energy Rating Label anywhere on the page, in the specs or in the manual linked on the page.

I thought it was required by law to be displayed?

Call them and ask if it is the law.

Buy it and let us know your experiences

You'll spend more on installation and then worry about it breaking down all the time

Is the use of the icon mandatory?
No. The GEMS Act mandates the display of the Energy Rating Label in stores on some regulated products, but the use of the Energy Rating Icon in advertising and online is currently voluntary.

Interesting, but looking at this excerpt below. Kogan being a online only retailer, is their website or checkout not considered their POS?

Which products must have an Energy Rating Label?
A range of products are required under the GEMS Act to display an Energy Rating Label (ERL) at their point of sale in Australia.

      These are:

      Air Conditioners (single phase)

So you know the rules. Complaint to Kogan.
