      After two years on PS+ my advice is drop the subscription and just buy physical games like this for cheap as chips as they appear. It remains to be seen if PS+ becomes worthwhile again with the revamp in June or whatever it is.

          I mean one month of ps+ vs an actual copy of GoW or Horizon Zero Dawn, I take the physical. I have to admit $8 for a month of all those games is better than paying $6 a week to rent SNES games as I did back in the day.

            @Budju: Depends what you want, it's not like it is Zelda BOTW and holds resell value. For me, I bought a PS5, played through the whole collection in 3 months ($24). Sold PS5.

              @Fooah: I guess in that special scenario you did fairly well. I'm not gonna sell my ps5 so bit different case. I also think I can move god of war any time for what I paid (like $5 with ebay code). Or Horizon Zero Dawn @ $8.

    Was always hesitant of this franchise… First one I played when it was cheap. Great fun! Simple game but super intuitive and fun game play plus awesome graphics.
    Get it.

      I was also hesitant to play at first because this game has been around $20 for awhile, normally an indication of a mediocre game. It's definitely one of the best games you'll play, with an amazing price

        That's not an indication of a mediocre game - maybe you can make that argument if it was Nintendo, but plenty of great games end up going cheap.

        In fact, it could mean the opposite. If they expect to sell well or have sold really well or from a large developer, they mass produce the games.

    This game started out ok, but it’s very repetitive, fighting techniques become quite complex (e.g. complex combinations of buttons to press), story is a bit ridiculous (main character is a god), too many runes and magical things to collect, making upgrades very complex and difficult to understand. Trying to find how to open a door/chest becomes a bit tired after a while. 20 min story interludes interrupt the action. I gave up.

      You're welcome to your opinion, I am baffled by it though. I can't believe they totally redesigned God of War to be an entire different thing and handled it perfectly and produced such a slick game.
